Product Introduction & Process
  • 1
    Magnetic Material Inspection

Nickel-iron alloy reed material, glass tubes, contact plating materials, protective gases, leads, epoxy compounds, cables, magnets, and sensor housings are inspected before production.

    2
    Reed Blade Stamping and Forming

Reed blades are precision stamped and formed from magnetic nickel-iron alloy strips. Blade dimensions, straightness, thickness, elasticity, and magnetic characteristics are strictly controlled.

    3
    Contact Surface Plating

The contact areas are plated with suitable contact materials, such as rhodium, ruthenium, gold, or other model-specific alloys. Plating thickness, uniformity, adhesion, and surface cleanliness are inspected.

    4
Reed Alignment and Contact Gap Setting

Two reed blades are positioned inside the glass tube using precision assembly equipment. Blade overlap, alignment, and contact gap are adjusted to determine the required magnetic sensitivity and switching characteristics.

    5
    Protective Atmosphere Filling

The glass tube is evacuated or filled with a controlled inert gas atmosphere, depending on the product design. This process reduces contact oxidation and improves long-term switching stability.

    6
    Glass Sealing

Both ends of the glass tube are heated and hermetically sealed around the metal leads. Temperature, sealing time, glass shape, and thermal stress are carefully controlled to prevent cracks or leakage.

    7
    Annealing and Lead Forming

The sealed glass capsule undergoes controlled cooling or annealing to reduce internal stress. External leads are straightened, trimmed, bent, or formed according to the required mounting configuration.

    8
    Magnetic Sensitivity Calibration

The sealed glass capsule undergoes controlled cooling or annealing to reduce internal stress. External leads are straightened, trimmed, bent, or formed according to the required mounting configuration.

    9
    Electrical Performance Testing

Contact resistance, insulation resistance, dielectric strength, operate time, release time, contact bounce, leakage, and switching continuity are tested.

    10
    Hermeticity and Mechanical Inspection

The glass capsule is inspected for cracks, bubbles, deformation, sealing defects, and lead misalignment. Hermetic sealing performance is verified through the applicable leak or environmental test.

    11
    Sensor Module Assembly

For complete reed sensors, the glass reed switch is soldered or welded to cables or terminals and positioned inside a plastic or metal housing. The sensor may be encapsulated with epoxy resin to provide mechanical and environmental protection.

    12
    Magnet and Switching-Distance Verification

Complete sensor assemblies are tested with the specified magnet. Operating distance, release distance, installation direction, polarity response, and repeatability are verified.

    13
    Reliability Testing

Sample units undergo switching life, vibration, impact, temperature cycling, humidity, cable pull, and repeated magnetic actuation testing.

    14
    Final Sorting and Packaging

Products are sorted according to sensitivity, contact type, lead form, cable length, or operating distance. Fragile glass components are packed using protective trays or tubes to prevent mechanical damage.
